Designing a show unit requires a delicate balance between aesthetics, functionality, and sales strategy—within a limited space that must still convey the customer’s “ideal lifestyle dream.” One of the biggest challenges is harmonizing a distinctive design style with mainstream preferences, ensuring the space is impressive yet relatable and easy for clients to envision in real-life living.

Co-IDB’s solution is an open, natural, and airy interior design, featuring a warm neutral color palette (beige, cream, wood brown, olive green). The main materials include natural wood, polished stone, linen fabric, and woven rattan, complemented by large glass doors that integrate natural light and the surrounding environment into the interior.

Key Design Highlights

1. Living Room – Bringing Nature In

Features a low sofa upholstered in coarse linen, a solid wood coffee table, and a tropical-style wooden ceiling fan. The high ceiling is complemented by hanging rattan lights and full-height sliding glass walls that open to a lush garden. Polished stone walls are accented with hand-carved wooden art or artisanal décor pieces.

2. Kitchen & Dining Area – Neat and Inviting

The lower cabinets are finished in oak or teak veneer with matte granite countertops, and open shelving replaces wall-mounted cabinets. A long dining table with six chairs features curved wooden legs, illuminated by hanging rattan lights with soft warm lighting. The kitchen window opens to a small garden, truly embodying “living amidst nature.”

3. Master Bedroom – Daily Retreat

Low Japanese-style wooden bed with white-beige cotton linens. The headboard wall is clad with large wooden panels or hand-painted abstract tropical patterns. Full-height glass doors open to the balcony or lightwell. Built-in wardrobes, natural fabric bedside lamps, and light brown wooden flooring create a serene and restful atmosphere.

4. Secondary Bedroom – Minimal and Airy

Single bed, low storage units, and a small study corner near the window. Soft neutral colors, nature-themed wall art, and small plants enhance vitality. The design is suitable for children or visiting guests.

5. Bathroom – A Home Spa Experience

Washbasin mounted on a raw stone countertop, round rattan-framed mirror, walls clad in slate or sand-toned mosaic tiles. Faucets in brass or matte black, with soft accent lighting. The bathroom opens to a small garden with greenery, providing ultimate relaxation.
