The show unit project is designed in a Contemporary style – modern, minimalist but emotional, combined with the spirit of “Wooden Nature” to create a living space that balances urban conveniences and the rustic warmth of nature. The space is skillfully handled with minimalist lines, flexible layout and neutral color palette as the background, highlighting natural wood materials, rough grain, bringing a feeling of closeness, relaxation but still modern and high-class.

Problems when Contemporary Style Model Home Design – Wooden Nature

The project investor wants the model apartment to convey a real feeling of life, not too “showcase”. Some challenges: – Balancing aesthetics and functionality: The model house must be beautiful to attract buyers, but also needs to bring a real feeling of life – not too far from reality. – The area is not large, but needs to arrange enough functional space: Including living room, kitchen, dining room, bedroom, office/residence room, toilet area – while still maintaining an airy feeling. – Expressing the spirit of “wooden nature” clearly but not heavily: Avoid overusing wood, making the space dark or outdated. – Creating a subtle difference compared to other model apartments in the same segment.

Design proposals for each category

Co-IDB chose a Contemporary design style combined with the spirit of Nature, emphasizing simplicity, coherence but still having depth in emotions. The main color palette includes: white, beige, natural wood brown, olive green or ash gray accents.

Interior design

1. Living room – modern, close, natural

Arrangement of beige fabric sofa, round wooden coffee table with black steel legs, cloud-patterned carpet. Simple wall-mounted TV shelf, the back wall is covered with vertical wooden slats. The wall hangs abstract canvas paintings with earth tones. Large glass doors open to the balcony for light and ventilation.

2. Kitchen – dining room seamless, coherent

L-shaped kitchen cabinets covered with light wood laminate, matte white quartz countertop, built-in kitchen appliances, light built-in handle system. Dining table with 4 elegant curved wooden chairs, round gold pendant lights create soft accents. Decorative items are few but selective.

3. Master bedroom – a true resting place

Low bed covered with light gray felt, vertical wooden headboard, Scandinavian-style wall-mounted night light. Built-in wardrobe with sliding wood grain doors, compact dressing table corner. Beige-white double-layer curtains help regulate the light gently according to the time.

4. Secondary bedroom / working corner – flexible and multi-purpose

Customize into a small bedroom or home office. Arrange a desk next to the window, a small storage cabinet and a relaxing armchair. The space is light and airy, bringing a feeling of concentration or rest depending on the purpose of use.

5. Bathroom – minimalist, clean, easy to use

The washbasin is placed on a moisture-proof wooden shelf, a round mirror with a lighted border, a matte black showerhead and a glass shower partition. The walls are tiled with light gray ceramic tiles, and the floor is anti-slip. The design is simple but ensures a “just enough high-class” feeling.
