PROBLEMS WHEN DESIGN Headwin Logistics OFFICE

When initiating the project, Headwin Logistics faced several practical challenges: The existing space was fragmented and lacked connectivity, negatively impacting internal operational flow. Outdated and inconsistent furniture failed to reflect the image of a modern logistics enterprise. A lack of flexible work areas such as team collaboration spaces, creative zones, and short-break rooms. A tight timeline requiring fast design development and efficient construction to meet the company’s operational expansion plan within the year.

Design proposals for each category

Co-IDB proposed an interior design direction for the Headwin office based on the Modern Industrial style, blending the dynamic spirit of the logistics industry with a modern and minimalist aesthetic. The space features a primary color palette of white, gray, and navy blue, accented with the brand’s signature orange to create a strong visual identity.

Key Design Highlights

1. Reception Area – Modern and Brand-Oriented

The reception desk features a chamfered L-shaped design, combining white engineered stone with black powder-coated steel. The Headwin logo stands out against a CNC-cut wood panel backdrop, highlighted by accent spotlights. Neutral-toned upholstered waiting chairs are complemented by greenery and service posters.

2. Open Workspace – Connectivity and Performance Optimization

Workstations are arranged in clusters of 4–6 people, with gray fabric acoustic partitions and ergonomic mesh chairs. The exposed ceiling is painted black and paired with industrial pendant lighting using neutral white light. Clear circulation paths, wood-look vinyl flooring that is dust-resistant and easy to maintain, and lockers arranged along the corridor ensure a clean and efficient layout.

3. Meeting Rooms – Simple Yet Contemporary

Meeting tables feature veneer wood tops with black steel legs, paired with gray fabric cantilever chairs. Frosted glass walls combined with pull-down blinds provide flexibility. The rooms are equipped with presentation screens, online meeting webcams, speaker–microphone systems, and built-in tabletop power outlets.

4. Director’s Office – Streamlined, Professional, and Private

The director’s desk is finished in walnut veneer, paired with a high-back swivel chair. A two-seat guest sofa and low coffee table create a comfortable meeting corner. Built-in storage cabinets and warm, deep tones enhance the sense of professionalism. Frosted glass partitions or decal films maintain visual connection to the shared workspace while ensuring privacy.

5. Pantry & Relaxation Area – Midday Energy Recharge

The open-plan pantry features high bar tables, metal stools, and light wood cabinetry. A coffee machine, microwave, and mini refrigerator are neatly integrated into the lower cabinets. A feature wall with slogan decals or brand imagery adds a soft visual accent within the dynamic operational environment.
