Designed in a Modern Scandinavian style, Nutmeg Townhouse features a neutral color palette, natural materials, and harmonious lighting—creating a true sense of home within the urban context. The construction process required effective handling of a narrow layout, well-organized functional planning, and the maintenance of aesthetic quality in every small detail.

PROBLEMS WHEN designing show unit Nutmeg Townhouse

Nutmeg Townhouse is a model home within the DE Lagi resort development in Binh Thuan, with a total area of 450 m². The investor aims to create a modern, luxurious living space that remains closely connected to nature, in order to attract potential buyers and enhance the overall value of the project.

Design proposals for each category

The Co-IDB team executed the interior fit-out of Nutmeg Townhouse using a closed-loop model—from in-house furniture production to on-site installation and final completion. Items such as kitchen cabinetry, wardrobes, TV units, tables, and chairs were all modularly fabricated at the workshop, enabling better quality control and significantly reducing on-site construction time.

Key Design Highlights

1. Living Room – Shared Living Area

Wood-paneled feature walls combined with decorative slats create visual interest without cluttering the space. Wall-mounted TV shelving and a sofa placed close to the wall help optimize floor area. All furniture is custom-produced with dimensions tailored specifically to townhouse living.

2. Kitchen & Dining Area

The I-shaped kitchen features a white marble-veined stone countertop, paired with light wood upper cabinets and light gray laminate-finished base cabinets. Premium soft-close hardware and drawer slides ensure durability, smooth operation, and easy maintenance. The adjacent dining area includes gently curved wooden chairs and cone-shaped pendant lights, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

3. Master Bedroom

The master bedroom interior is executed with a minimalist approach, emphasizing material quality and lighting. The headboard wall is upholstered in fabric, complemented by built-in wardrobes with flat, handle-less doors. Bedside tables and a work desk are seamlessly integrated, with concealed power outlets underneath to enhance user convenience.

4. Children’s Bedroom

The room features a bunk bed with integrated drawers, a wardrobe combined with bookshelves, and a wall-mounted study desk. The primary color palette includes white, beige, and soft pastels. All furniture edges are rounded to ensure safety for children during daily use.

5. Staircase & Transitional Areas

The staircase handrail combines wood with black-painted steel in a clean, simple design. Wooden stair treads match the flooring on each level. Lightweight wooden slat partitions create visual interest between floors while maintaining openness and airflow.

6. Finishing Details & Lighting

Every detail—from hinges and drawer slides to joints between cabinetry and walls—is carefully refined. The lighting scheme includes recessed ceiling lights, concealed LED strip lighting within cabinetry, and wall-wash bedside lights, creating a comfortable and warm ambiance.
