Problems when NEC office design

NEC wanted to upgrade its office space to match its status as an international technology corporation, but the original floor plan was fragmented, lacking natural light and making it difficult to optimize traffic flow. At the same time, the design team had to balance modern technology and employee friendliness.

Design proposals for each category

The design team proposed a plan to expand the view, remove the hard partitions, and create a central traffic axis throughout the areas. The lighting solution combines natural light and modern LED ring lights, industrial open ceilings and high-quality materials to optimize the area, bring ventilation and affirm NEC’s pioneering technological identity.

Interior design

Problem – solution for floor plan & outstanding design

The floor plan is organized openly, from the reception desk – guest lounge – interconnected common working area, helping to maximize the city view. Soft curves lead the way, creating a sense of continuity and connection between functional areas, while facilitating internal traffic.

Color – material – brand highlight

The main blue tone combined with white and gray shows trust. Transparent glass, stone surfaces, light-colored wood and metallic details bring a high-class feel. The glowing NEC logo with the circular ceiling light system and interactive LED wall panels are strong highlights, honoring the leading technology brand.
